Monday Sept 18, 2006 PICTURE DAY

Don't forget Monday is picture day!
Even if you don't buy a picture package you need to get your picture taken for the yearbook, student ID card and for our records.

So remember to comb your hair and SMILE!

Sooner or Later - September 14's class

I knew it was going to happen sooner or later but I didn't think it would be this soon, and on my BIRTHDAY to boot!

Ok here goes my summary of yesterday's class: Density is the measure of mass per unit of volume. There is a nifty formula to help you calculate any of the three variables in the equation.

D = m/V where D = density m = Mass and V = volume. Remember your units of measure and to round answers to two significant digits after the decimal.

Check out this website with an explanation and some practice questions:

Ok now for the Homework portion:

  1. The handout with 12 density questions is due TODAY Friday September 15th, 2006.
  2. Pre- lab report (first 2 pages of the lab report) are due on Monday plus you must have your goggles for the lab.

I will nominate Chelsea Warkentin to blog Friday's class.

Have a very Happy Friday and I will see you Science geeks second period!

Cheers and happy blogging!
