Chemistry is Coming to an END!!!

Hello Folks,

We took a small break from the blog and now I hope we are back into the full swing of things. A reminder that our Chemistry TEST is on Tuesday October 24, 2006 and because I am such a wonderful teacher here are a list of things you need to know for that wonderful day:

1) Everything from the first quiz - Chemical and physical properties, chemical and physical changes, density, WHMIS,
2) How to find protons, neutrons and electrons,
3) How to draw Rutherford - Bohr Models
4) Know the families and periods of the periodic table
5) How to draw stable Rutherford-Bohr models
6) How to the find the ionic charge/combing capacity
7) How to write a compounds' name and chemical formula
8) How to write a word equation for a compound.
9) How to draw a ball and hook diagram (holding hands diagram)
10)Standard Atomic Notation *** we will be learning this Thursday Oct 19, 2006
11) Isotopes and Radioisotopes ***we will be learning this Thursday Oct 19, 2006

AHHH so much to know and so little brain space! Start studying now and don't forget there is help with me after school and there is the homework centre Monday through Thursday at 7 to 8:30 pm. I am also available via e-mail at kelly_scallion@hotmail.com.

The strongest tool you have for review are your classmates...ask questions, make sure you have the notes, make sure you have the corrected assignments and ASK QUESTIONS!
